Wendy Stephenson

Wendy is the Treasurer for TreeSisters, an international Tree Charity supporting the reforestation of the Tropics.

Wendy will be talking about the work of TreeSisters on the ground with projects in India, Africa and South America and the Tree Sisters unique method of working with their female supporters and why they have been so successful.

Wendy is linked in to a number of UK based and international groups working with energy and carbon sequestration. Wendy is CEO for The Converging World Group, Director of Climate Action West – a CIC based in West Somerset, Director of programmes for the Pontin Charitable Trust, special advisor to the Executive LAG for Western Somerset responsible for processing project applications that deliver a low carbon economy, and author of the bid that provided them with £2.25m funding (2008).
